tbh, i liked the old rodrick better, but just because you like someone better, doesn't mean you treat the other like crap. i just don't think the rodrick in the 4th movie suited the role, i think it's the haircut since rodrick would have a more messy/fluffy haircut. but the actor didn't deserve hate, it's not his fault

He isn't ugly, but he certainly doesn't fit as Rodrick. The old Rodrick was way better, but we can't blame the new Rodrick actor for that

For some cases, the same people who bullied him are the same people who suddenly get all sympathetic. They only thought it was 'okay' to bully a literal teenager because everyone else was joining in.
