  I like how in the original 3 instead of just copying the book 1:1 They made Greg improve as a person as time goes on. So instead of him being a manipulative asshole he starts off that why but grows and learns to care for the people around him

  The first three live action films are peak, the fourth one is......something, and so far the animated movies range from mid to decent.
