  Not all fishing trips are exciting and end up with a big fish or unexpected species. Dont try too hard to chase that every time, a nice calm session makes a perfectly fine video too.

  Mate I'd watch you catch carrier bags and old tyres 😂...I don't ever miss one of your videos...by far the best allrounders on YouTube and you've not sold your soul to big tackle and bait companieslike most do...keep up the good works

  Forget the pike. Good to see some good ol' fishing. Long time viewer first time commenting. Going through your back catalogue fyi. Glad you have your driver's license now. Would be interesting if you came to wordsley, Stourbridge canal. I have a place you can catch chub eel and carp if your lucky. Alongside the usual silvers of course!

  Pike will hit bread on the retrieve sometimes, like they'll go for floats, feeders and anything that moves. Best guess is it nabbed a silver that had taken the bread, and lip hooked itself.

  Would have enjoyed the fishing anyway. I'm housebound with Parkinson's and miss fishing so much, so memories of canal and river fishing for whatever comes along are most welcome especially when they have surprises. Best memories include good size chub on worm, ( targeted) on the email river right near my house. Good days with buzzards overhead and tremendous wildlife for the quiet watcher, not when fishing! Thanks for your lovely videos. Remember no fish is to small to not celebrate, respect and return safely.

  Your videos are more about your positive energy and things you do. I don’t fish anymore so perhaps I am the exception but I am more interested in your thought process and positivity than the actual what you catch. Can we go minnow fishing next :)

  What I’ve noticed this year, beautiful bird song. That’s why we go fishing, nature. If we catch a fish, it’s a bonus.

  Come to conclusion, your canal holds way more fish than mine does here in West Yorkshire. You get more than in winter than we do in summer.
