  Not about his on field play, but a story I'd like to share.  Brian Dawkins was my dad's favorite player, and when he went to the broncos, he remained an eagles fan but always rooted for Dawkins in Mile High.  He went to his Hall of Fame induction, donated to the Dawkins Foundation, went to Super Bowl 52 wearing 20, and has a framed Dawkins jersey he signed.  My dad was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer in 2021 and by 2023 we knew it was terminal.  In early 2023, my mom sent an emails to the Dawkins Foundation about how much he meant to my dad about not just who he was on the field, but off it as well for being outspoken about his mental health and his various charity contributions along with the Dawkins Foundation itself.  My dad actually wanted to be cremated in a Dawkins jersey so when he unfortunately did pass it was a bit of trouble finding a place that would, but we thankfully did.  Back to it though, Brian's secretary saw the email and actually arranged a virtual zoom call with Brian Dawkins for my dad to speak to him for about a half hour.  My dad was in tears almost the entire time, and it was such a beautiful memory during a very dark time in our family as he continued to degrade in health.  I will forever love both Weapon X and Brian Dawkins for everything they meant to my dad.

  Dawkins was a beast and while I understood that he was getting up there in age, The Eagles should have kept him for his whole career
