Another reminder to try and be as happy as you can. Most people today never heard about these wonderful women. Seize the day.
Enjoy your life. Everyone will be forgotten.

They lived charmed lives really. I remember my mother telling me that you don’t know a person until you live with them - which many of us have found out to our cost.

Imagine having your children live in a cottage next door with a nanny and a cook...how very sad ...these three sisters were in trouble the day they were born....their mother cared more about money than her daughters happiness..once again how very sad

This has been a truly interesting 2-parter, so well researched and narrated. Thank you so much for the hard work.

Now this IS the classy gossip I would watch back to back to back while sipping martinis or eating edibles. Not the trash that modern media showcases. Thank you!

Capote was worse than a snake. Imagine attacking & USING all your friends as he did & then acting surprised when they cut you off, &, even worse, hurt, as if YOU were the victim. What gall, what self-centered arrogance!

"Tired of being exquisite." -- Such a beautiful line.

I enjoyed this tremendously. I always thought Jock Whitney was the real catch in every possible way. Apparently Betsy knew this and was devoted to him. It’s interesting that bill paley never remarried.

The 3 sisters all paid a heavy price in various degrees for some of the choices
they made. You encapsulated why, when you said another set of rules and another time. (beautifully written)
I wonder if Babe thought it was all worthwhile in those last weeks? Maybe she did.
Babe never gave up on chasing perfection.
Truman's betrayal was unforgivable. He suffered abandonment as child
that affected his whole life. He really wanted his mother's dream of being a 5th Avenue doyen but
as another commenter said he could never really have it.
Pamela Churchill was everywhere.!
Betsy seemed to have had a better life.
For me their story is both fascinating and perplexing. Perhaps even
a little painful. Particularly Babe. So much effort and compromise for glamour, beauty and money.
Thanks again for continuing to make such high quality docos. As usual your writting, construction and
telling of their story was eloquent and immersive. I'm sure we are all very grateful for your talent. ❤ Both episodes are very special.

This is better than any A & E Biography! I loved Peter Graves' narration, but yours is so much better. As for the Cushing sisters, they experienced life's joys, sorrows, disappointments, and regrets like everyone else. Thank you for entertaining us with Mythic Women! ❤
