I recommend you watch the animated film, “The Brave Little Toaster”, as a palette cleanser 😂. They animators went on to create Pixar.

Hi Olly - Many thanks for your nice comments about HE-MEN, BAG MEN & NYMPHOS, our collection of vintage men's adventure magazine stories by the late, great Walter Kaylin. My co-editor Wyatt Doyle and I greatly appreciate your support for our labors of love. For folks who may be interested, that book is on Amazon worldwide in softcover and deluxe hardcover editions, and both feature the cover and interior illustrations from the original magazines in full color. I love your YouTube videos and your wide-ranging book selections, Olly. Keep up the great work!

I read Angel Down and was completely blown away. He really brings home the horror of WWI, and the way it is written as a single sentence gives it this feeling of hurtling towards the inevitable. It was an incredible read for me.

  The Penetrator/aka Mark Hardon 😂 OMG, I can't stop laughing. I'm not a 60 year old granny, I'm a 13 year old boy.

E.C. Tubb was prolific. He wrote some sword and sorcery fantasy stories that are pretty good.

It’s always interesting seeing you trash a book because you’re normally so nice!

That small appliances book kind of sounds like The Jetsons with Rosie the robot housekeeper LOL

Really interested in your John Slater review, I'm in Australia and on the lookout for those novels.

I can see being indifferent to Small Appliances, but I'm surprised it engendered such strong negative feelings.  I thought it was okay.  Maybe I haven't seen enough Pixar movies!
