The days when kids had to get off their arses, go down to a record shop, trawl through a crate of records, and then find that top tune that they had heard at the weekend. If the 'man like' was on the radio then you would buy an extra special chrome tape for the occasion and wait for the start of what was guaranteed to be an absolute belting set. If you had auto-reverse on your tape player then you were lucky, otherwise you would be on your knees, pissed, trying to see with one eye whether the tape was going to end, then a mad panic to flip it over. Back then was the "Higher Ground". Or maybe I am just a middle aged moaning twat who doesn't understand the concept of a "SYNC" button.

I remember recording this live of the radio back in 94 but only ever had the first 45 minutes due my lack of tapes. Hearing the rest of the mix after 10 years of it being hidden was quite some moment for my ears!

Clubbing in the 90's was totally amazin if you were lucky enough to be there as I was :-) dj's like sasha and digweed made it an experience like no other, I still occasionally go out now but there will never be a time like these it was cutting edge but now its just a watered down version like so many things :-)
