The scene, where the Batmobile in the new Batman movie first appears, was absolutely insane.<br>When it first starts revving up, the whole theater was shaking and when the tail lights went up, this thing looked like a demon outta hell.<br>Masterful sound design and cinematography, like the rest of the movie.

After just watching the new Batman, this one is my favorite by a country mile, maybe isn’t as utilitarian as the tumbler but unmistakably the best sounding with the best chase scene, seriously he hits two step for a solid 10-15 seconds to start the chase and it is orgasmic

A few details have been confirmed about the new Batmobile. It's based on a 1969 Dodge Charger, heavily armored with a roll cage and better suspension. The engine is a rear mounted Ford Triton V10, and if you look carefully the rear profile matches the Bat symbol.<br><br>Not about the car, but apparently the bat on the suit is made from the gun that killed his parents.

Tumbler will always be my favorite. The most amount of legitimate engineering and creativity from scratch went into this design.

HR Giger was from Switzerland, not Sweden, and inspired the artwork for Aliens, and worked on Jodorwosky's Dune.

Love how, of all the aircraft in the world, "this old jet" is an X-15. No jets there, just rockets. And the canopy didn't slide, it tilted on hinges.

Burton’s Batmobile also had RC, shot grappling hooks at lampposts to help it turn corners and it also had a full armadillo shell that protected it when BM wasn’t there.
