  Thunderbolts feels like guardians of the galaxy 1. Which is a great compliment because that movie has amazing character writing.

  Here’s the thing for me<br>The avengers were never a family, not really. But they were the closest thing Natasha had to one. That’s it<br>No one checked on Thor when he was depressed, no one knew what banner was up to, no one checked on Tony, and after endgame, absolutely no one checked on Wanda. Not even Clint

  the best evidence the Avengers weren&apos;t family is how in the 5 years after the snap, the Avengers weren&apos;t aware of Thor&apos;s downward spiral into depression or Tony&apos;s daughter. Steve and co went to them because they had planned to figure out time travel. Thor lost everyone, yet no one bothered to sit with him and support him? Tony was never contacted until they needed his big brain? Half of the universe died, so this lack of interest for them feels off if you force yourself into viewing them as family.<br><br>Total opposite of the Thunderbolts that stay together living under the same roof even 14 months later. Bob doesn&apos;t even come with them on the missions in fear of the void taking over. &quot;Sorry guys, I can&apos;t be the Sentry without the..other side. I did the dishes though :)&quot; is such a funny line but also a very telling one. Bob isn&apos;t there to be of use on battlefields, he&apos;s there because they care and have set their mind on sticking together.<br><br>Additionally, this is also a sentiment addressed outside the movie. Sebastian Stan said Bucky wanted a family and has now found one in the Thunderbolts. The Avengers weren&apos;t described like that.

  Honestly, the Avengers seem like the way families are today, while the Thunderbolts are more like the classic nuclear family.

  What I really noticed was the comedy. The Avengers humor was more &quot;perfectly timed zingers that normal people only think of hours later&quot; while the humor in Thunderbolts seemed more natural, and came more from them being so bad at social interactions that its unintentionally hilarious (unintentional for the characters, I mean. Obviously it was written to be funny)

  I&apos;d love to add that towards the end when, Yelena seemingly dies they enter the void after her, without 100% being sure they would still be alive. They weren&apos;t sure if Yelena was dead but they were willing to try and rescue her.

  To me I think the Avengers feel more like a group of work buddies that are close enough to hangout after work, especially in age of ultron when they were joking around with Thor&apos;s hammer
