  You have both been inspirational towards motivating me to be proactive in bringing my vision of starting a business in Europe. My wife has dual Hungarian / US citizenship and I was planning to get a family reunification visa, but Albania offers a more cost effective and less restrictive pathway to bring my vision to fruition. I helped to write food policy legislation in California back in 2019 that has become a template for the cottage food industry here in the US. I started 3 LLC&apos;s here in North Carolina post retirement in the realm of urban farming and CEA, before sustaining major injuries in a car accident in 2023 that put the dampers on things for awhile. My idea is so different I don&apos;t even want to put it out here, but will be glad to discuss it privately. It&apos;s well beyond the idea phase and ready for implementation. I have an appointment with Tahir on Tuesday and I&apos;m looking forward to collaborating with you in the future and getting to know the family.

  Great video and raises an excellent point about finances. I’m working on my plan to retire abroad and looking at all options. However, I’m also looking at the “what if” of it not working out. I’ll still need to have money to live here in the US IF I’m unable to secure a visa or decide I want to be closer to my family. And no matter where I end up in retirement, travel is something I want to be able to do and that means having funds over and above what I need for housing/living expenses.

  Jokes on me I quit my remote job 1 1/2 months after moving abroad. I guess I will truly be testing the reality of expat life.
