This guy is the antitode to fear of starting. Seeing his Day 1 Hour 0 and then when he finally gets it, in EVERY SKILL, makes me feel and think "Wait, it actually is possible?!?!"<br>Man, I gotta get out of the screens more

Just a tip on drums: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oScIXEy-IDc&t=814">13:34</a> - look up "quantization". You can set it up, so that the midi notes will "snap" to the grid, and be on time always. While you record them, instead of quantizing them after recording.<br>Though if you use quantizing to much, your drums will not sound natural, and they will sound like a machine.<br><br>But using just enough, will make you sound like an expert drummer who hits right on the beat, but still human and interesting 😊

This is so ridiculous. Yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock I was thinking to myself God I haven’t seen a video from Mike Boyd in forever. Welcome back, Mike. Good to see you. ❤

Dude, this is so sick... please continue making music. Even if you don't make videos on it, I hope you at least continue practicing and producing in your own free time. I think it's important for people to pursue their own creative hobbies they are passionate about; it is one of the coolest ways to represent your ideas and showcase something unique only to you. I make music in my free time, and it genuinely helps me in a lot of ways; it's a more healthy "escape" than if I were to doomscroll or procrastinate all day. Plus, it feels good knowing you accomplished making something of your own. I hope you keep at it!
