    I’ve been into chess for barely a year. I spent far too long trying to find out what “RICE” meant on his stats chart. For weeks I looked up things like “What is ‘RICE’ in chess?” and couldn’t find a shred of information. I was convinced it was an acronym for something. Then the algorithm finally pulled up that video where he talks about the guy cheating but claiming he was turning on his rice cooker. Face palm. Thanks Nelson for playing the RICE gambit on me and making me pull my hair out in confusion.

    I love the way you explain. Time flies by when watching your videos they're very gripping

    I love how nelson's slowly adopting mistkae into an actual term used on this channel

    Some great games in this episode, Nelson. I love it when you’re out of your prep early and have to wing it on general principles, explaining your reasoning as you play.

    Game 2 was wild, white looked so eager to shutdown the black bishop he disregarded the pawn storm at the center

    I don&apos;t play chess, but found one of Nelson&apos;s videos when we were looking for a video explaining bridge rules. I think that was an April Fools joke, but the explanation was very crisp and logical, so I&apos;ve been binge watching the ratings climb videos since then. He was awkward 4 years ago, but he&apos;s really developed his style. <br>This video I love how increasingly overwhelmed he becomes at his brilliant moves between 59 and 62 minutes. It&apos;s inspiring me to start playing.

    &quot;Pawn snackrifice&quot; has the potential to catch on more than &quot;cooking rice&quot;

    You&apos;re 100% correct for updating the RICE stat..... that game on the last episode looked quite suspicious 😒

    In the second game the opening phase seemed like a middle game.
