I agree that covert narcissists are so hard to deal with. My mom and ex-husband are both covert and it’s such difficult thing to explain to people because it’s hard to understand if you haven’t dealt with it firsthand. It can feel very isolating.

I made the choice yesterday to make my exit strategy. I'm permanent disabled and it's not easy. I don't know where I'm going but I know I cannot live where I'm living I'm getting it from many sides.

Exactly how you describe how the narc can document you when they provide you, is how I try to document the narc - the provocation, I just let her develop her usual narc self.
