Sounds like Prop 65 to consumers is the Federal/State governments covering their willingness to tariff/tax products like guitars, just in case. The workers that actually manufacture them are at exponentially higher risks. Maybe why USA made manufacturers charge more for the same guitar instrument ? Every factory in Asia seems to have workers wearing gloves, masks, respiration protection & skin & eye protection too. Maybe for at least guitars, Worker safety is just as highly a concern ? The smaller the manufacturer (boutique is that's what a Chibson is, a relative spin as a boutique/custom shop of crappier craftsmanship ?), those Made in USA guitars are the one's that are likely to skimp on the workplace safety ? I guess we all do for our music in some way or another ?

I hope I die playing my cancer causing guitar while smoking a big ole fatty. We are closer by far to being murdered by a nuclear war than dyeing from a poisonous guitar. Hell, they have poisoned all the food, air and water to the extent that everyone will die from it in one form or another. So fuck the politicians and their crime syndicates called governments .

This is mainly re the workers - my dad is 92 and has worked with wood and fibreglass, his health is better than mine!

I'm all for health and safety at work, and ensuring employers adhere to such, however, this video is a bit fear pornesque. Most of the threats and dangers are known by woodworkers.

I suppose outsourced factories are a different matter re health and safety 🤔🤔
