  Hey!! I was the guy that said Hello at the old town in Bilbao and recommended you the place for the basque cheesecake! you were so sweet (and you boyfriend too), I can’t see the video cuz my girlfriend is away (have to see it with her) but I bet this video is awesome, cheers ❤!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7NSzxeBCLo&amp;t=1900">31:40</a> Fun fact, those yellow kitchen utensils are usually made of Olive trees, they add aroma to the food you cook. I used to make these when I worked as a carpenter. Definitely a quality utensil.

  The little pintxo with the olive, the little pepper and anchovies is called Gilda in honor of Rita Hayworth movie &quot;Gilda&quot;! It&apos;s a classic in the Basque Country :)

You&apos;ll be surprised when you realize it&apos;s not that we consider pintxos and tapas like real meals. We consider them kind of &quot;big snacks&quot;. Then we&apos;ll go home and eat lunch. That&apos;s why we only have one or two pintxos.

  I&apos;m from Barcelona (absolutely adore Pais Vasco ofc) and I just wanted to cry watching this. I was screaming in my head saying &quot;YES&quot; every time you went to a local bar/restaurant and tried the real food, not the instagram one. Even in the first restaurant outside Barcelona I was happy seeing you eating &quot;galtes&quot; (pork cheeks). Been following for years and this was my fav video so far. Thanks so much also for that professional, educated palate you have. Makes It more enjoyable to watch It.

  I’m not Basque, but I am Spanish. And it brought me so much joy watching you enjoy the food and culture of País Vasco which isn’t the same but very similar to my own. Also to see you interacting so pleasantly with the locals. I can’t wait even more to eventually visit myself. If you haven’t been already, would be amazing to see you do a similar tour through Andalucía, beautiful places and food too! 😊

  I am basque from my grand mother and if I know the north of the country, I never went to San Sebastian. But omg with your video I so want to! I&apos;m so proud to see my roots in your video and I love that you enjoyed sidra!
