Fun fact.
For the Louisiana purchase. The US used a British bank. The French would use the money from the Louisiana Purchase to plan an invasion of Britain. So in a sense the British were funding a French Invasion of Britain.

I had literally, LITERALLY, just finished watching the original and was looking for a new video then this popped up. 😂

This was probably one of oversimplified’s best videos. It’s the only one I legit laughed at instead of smirking.

As a British person I can say that the representation of parliament is so accurate 16:20

I’ve always been interested in history but you’ve definitely been the reason why my interest came back. I appreciate you keeping us engaged in what you’re saying and watching. I would’ve loved to have you as a history teacher when I was still in school. Honestly being your student would’ve 100% led me to pursuing a teacher career as a history teacher. Edit: spelling mistake apologies. And I’d like to wish you all happy holidays. Stay safe ❤️

Oversimplified is the only channel where I won't skip the ads. They are pretty entertaining to watch.

I always forget how recent US history is.
I find myself always thinking that "that can't only be 200 years ago"

Judging by the ending, Oversimplified is finally going down the same insane path as the Alternate history hub and “Knowledge” Hub brothers

This has to be the fastest reaction you've done on the channel. This Pig War video reminds me of the great couple of videos Drawn of History has, on the war of 1812. I think the viewers of this channel would love it!
