I got lost hiking up a mountain, and I saw a shepherd. I asked him "How far up are we?" and he answered "Hammer of Justice - Deltarune Gerson Fight Animation." That's how I realised, I already knew the answer. We were at the peak.

“Susie’s Idea” SHE SPINS The fact that you can actually do this in the Gerson fight if you do it quickly enough is wild

1:20 Gerson's whole theme of choosing your own path regardless of what fate, destiny, or prophecy says is really embodied in this line.

Usually these animations are team battles, we haven't gotten a one versus one in a while.

1:20 I like how you animated ralsei's hesitation,as he knows so much he couldnt even say a thing to susie,so he knows what will happen at tye end of the tale.Thats why "after that,it stopped."

I absolutely adore the trope of the goofy old man secretly being a wise and powerful warrior who guides the hero's training, and Gerson is a wonderful execution of that trope. He doesn't do a whole lot of direct teaching, so much as subtly encouraging and guiding Susie to be able to find her own way forward.

1:36 I like how Ralsei is in shock here, it foreshadows Susie breaking the prophecy later perfectly and it shows that Ralsei is gaining more hope that they can stray away from the prophecy.

This entire training arc for Susie Is just undeniable proof that she Is the Main Character, and we're just helping her along on her journey.
