Sam! I love you basket! And it makes me feel so proud of my pile of notebooks. I go back to them to re-look and sometimes there is a nugget there that I forgot about. You hear so many people say to clean out and declutter in home making circles. But in writing and illustration I feel justified keeping some piles and “clutter” that I can go back to. What a shame if I was all cleared away!

I cannot help myself. I love your Podcast but since you have the new thumbnails I never feel compelled to click on the video...I never thought this has so much impact 😢 i missed a few episodes so far and I really had to push myself to klick on this one because it has at least Sam's familiar face on it...

Another one can be the book proposal/pitch is advertising itself for a certain age group but it actually works better for a different age group/format. Like instead of PB maybe it needs to be an early reader or juvenile graphic novel series, as an example.
