I find it truly amazing that Robert sounds SO MUCH like what he sounded in the 80s 90s 00s... So many of my fav bands lead singers voices have changed with age... The guy is ageless.

Robert Smith is an underrated guitar-player. Forest is a masterpiece. The bass rules but Smith's guitar is ethereal and anarchic, both harmonically and in terms of the signal chain. Brilliant. Ps i started play guitar for The Cure e Smith. Can you listen "the kiss" totally crazy 😂!

Robert Smith is such a bad ass. If you haven't seen him for a while it takes a minute to get used to the look, but he's lost nothing after 40+ years.

You got to check out the Cure song "Primary". It features two bases rather than guitar and bass. Incredibly propelling.

Robert Smith comes from a musical family and was classically trained. He is phenomenal as a musician and as an authentic, principled human being. Married to Mary for over 50 years. Phones her every night before a concert and she tells him ‘Sing well’.
