um so this speed run strat was part of my Dad's first job after getting married, back in the 70's. He worked for a phone company and his tasks included riding trains around the country, counting the telephone poles along the train routes. The data was used to estimate market sizes and available line capacity in regions the company was thinking of expanding to, back when there were a ton of different phone companies and calling long-distance or even outside your area code cost extra.

A great Oracle casts no bones and scrys with no crystal ball, just telephone poles and random people walking on the street.
