  I love the way Dialko approaches this mod because instead of just running away and screaming (mostly), he's like a wildlife photographer. When one of the entities jumps him, he dies to it and freaks out, but then he goes right back and he's like "What are you? What's your name?" It's so different from a lot of other people who try these mods! He's also the first person I've seen to take the time to decode the ciphered books.

  I didn't realize how much I missed a calm YouTuber playing Minecraft. It's so refreshing not to be screamed at constantly or have you talking at 1000 miles an hour. Reminds me a lot of the first Minecraft series I ever watched (davidangel64's X's Adventures in Minecraft).

  to me wonderland.jar evokes the same feeling as exploring yume nikki or a good fangame of yume nikki. you’re dropped into unexplainable worlds with obvious significance but zero context, and the more you walk around and explore the more things start to connect. really neat to see that concept in minecraft instead of rpgmaker, especially with how it uses the anxieties of early minecraft versions and gameplay to create creepy environments and even inspire horror. I really appreciate how investigative your playthroughs are as well. just goes to show that this mod is quite the rabbit hole. I like that the entities usually exist for a reason (except fih, my beloved). it’s such a slow burn uncanny experience compared to the run of the mill cheap jumpscare minecraft horror mod

  I seriously love the editing style for the wonderland videos. Whenever most other videos on horror mods cut the footage into a clip of the youtuber not speaking, it almost guarantees that the clip involves some sort of scare that catches them off guard. However, I can't get enough of how you'll just cut to something quiet and mundane where nothing happens. It does such an excellent job at maintaining the tension of the environment, and it easily makes these my favorite spooky minecraft videos :D

  FYI, the mod author recommends playing with KeepInventory on.<br>Losing your items in random dimensions or suffocating in a wall somewhere is no fun.

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noEYauhGC64&amp;t=5004">1:23:24</a>, I think it&apos;s cool how it hints at how to make a cross. Each chest has the cross recipe, only with other minerals taking the crystals&apos; place, because it shows that whoever was there had it down, but they just needed the blue crystal instead of regular ores, and it says, &quot;I just need his crystal.&quot; Which I think is a very intriguing detail that gives you a hint on how to make one!

  Damn...this mod has a tragic feeling to it. It feels like Wonderland is the corrupted remains of a lost people. The creatures are people who were once Dialko, thinking they could save them, and eventually became trapped like everyone else. They attack as a way to tell you to leave while you still have the choice to leave.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noEYauhGC64&amp;t=4184">1:09:44</a> I think the Abyss in this mod is a reference to Dante&apos;s Inferno, wherein the lowest and most central level of hell is a glacial wasteland, very similar to the patches of ice and dark water seen in this dimension
