  you&apos;re so cute, I&apos;m also late 30s and spent my last birthday alone. I started crying and feeling miserable when I woke up, but then, decided to go out to a hike, on my own, and made a nice memory. I would have loved to have a friend like you. all the best

  I spent my first birthday alone when I turned 41. I’m 58 now and still spending my birthdays alone. I am at peace with it.

  On my birthdays I often treat myself to a small cake to share with my fiancé. Last time, it was when we were both homeless, since we struggle with the American system, but something about being that isolated felt really peaceful and almost freeing. Ironically, it was one of the most fun birthdays I&apos;ve ever had if you can believe it!<br><br>Happy late birthday ^.^
