  Actually a popular theory of Sokka is after Korra&apos;s attempted kidnapping he kept looking into it and eventually linked it to Unalock. He tried to tell the others but was caught and killed by Unalock. The only issue with the theory is he caught him in the North Pole but he was somehow smuggled back to the South Pole in only a matter of days which seems incredibly unlikely but does explain why he died so young despite being so healthy and active

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhPWj2VT2HE&amp;t=541">9:01</a> Always bothered me that Sokka (&amp; Suki) didn’t have their ending stories explained very well - like whether they got married or had their own family together like Aang &amp; Katara or if they stuck more to their roles serving peace for their respective nations.
