  The irony is this was the peak of civilization...and its been all downhill ever since.<br><br>Cheers you 199x kids - us - we were born at the peak and have had to endure the fall

  I remember nights like that. It was usually the night before Christmas or a vacation. I&apos;d watch an orange rugrats tape in the VCR while laying under my reversible toy story blanket up on my loft bed. Simpler times. So much to look forward to and fewer mistakes made. Those were good nights. Thanks for the nice reminder of those days my friend. It was much needed. Keep holding on everyone. Learn and move forward while remembering and being thankful for the good moments.

  X-er here. &nbsp;90&apos;s was high school and the start of college. &nbsp;Late night homework assignments and term papers. &nbsp;Weekends up late with friends playing video games and watching movies. ❤

  Its kinda weird how whenever it comes to revisiting childhood memories or the past people always claim its better. Don&apos;t get me wrong i think my childhood era was better too. But i think its how we are as humans, it doesn&apos;t matter which generation a person is from, when you ask them about their childhood, majority of them will say it&apos;s better than the present. I mean just look at how many videos like this are out there, and its from different years, there are ones from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and so on. I remember back in 2016 i used to see posts of how good 2009 was, now im seeing posts of how good 2016 was.<br><br>I have a theory that i came up with a long ago. I think when we were kids, everything around us was new, so it makes everything and everyday exciting. We are so eager to experience something new and we haven&apos;t gone through lots of bad experiences yet. <br><br>The older we get the more experienced and knowledgeable we become and that comes with a cost, we became less eager to explore and things became normal and boring because we experience it everyday. <br><br>I think that&apos;s why childhoods are very important, i don&apos;t want to sound disappointing but i think that&apos;s the only time in our life where we will ever feel happy almost all the time. Don&apos;t get me wrong, we can still feel happy as adults but it&apos;s not the same. (If you&apos;re an adult you know what i mean)<br><br>Now i see people are starting to post vids about how good 2019 was, i think those posts were made by the generation who were kids back in 2019. Since that was 7 years ago most of them are young adults or teens now so they&apos;re starting to reminisce their childhood. <br><br>Maybe what im trying to say is, yes our childhood was very wonderful, but we&apos;re not living in our childhood anymore, there&apos;s nothing wrong with reminiscing but we have to be grateful and happy about the present too. Try to find your happiness even if its the smallest thing that only you find awesome. We will never be able to chase our childhood again but we can chase the things that makes us happy.
