  Technically “Pregnant people” IS more precise than “mothers” because mothers aren’t constantly pregnant and may have never been pregnant before.

  The woman who's a therian is actually doing a pretty cool service, like, helping in animal preserves, studying wolves and such. What's the harm in that? Just because beardboy finds it weird, well, I find beardboy weird too, weird people exist, get over it.

  inclusivity about the term "pregnant person" doesnt start and end at trans people either. there are plenty of mothers who have never been pregnant (adoptive mothers, aunts who helped raise you, dads new girlfriend who loves you as her own kid), and plenty of people who have given birth but arent mothers (the ones who disown their children, the ones who leave them at a young age). its important to add that inclusivity to these terms isnt just a trans thing

  I am a grey fox therian/otherkin and its absolutely a coping mechanism due to being dehumanized constantly growing up (because of neurodivergence). Of course I know that physically I am a human, but the escapism helps me to function better when I DO have to particpate in "normal" society. And the community I am a part of is nothing but kind and understanding <3

  I spent maybe a month in 5th grade (circa 1998) saying I was a werecat. It turns out that thinking you can shapeshift and walking on tip-toe are both strong indicators for being autistic and trans.

  My daughter was a "bird," for about three years. We called her arms wings. She loved it, made her happy, and there have been zero negative effects.

  “You didn’t choose to go on hormones?”<br><br>I did. Same way I chose to get medication for my depression and adhd. Because I didn’t chose the conditions but I chose to treat them.

  They don&apos;t care about being correct about trans people and gender. They only care about opposing us. It&apos;s more about &quot;owning&quot; us in a debate or having a &quot;gotcha&quot; that can make them look like they are right. <br><br>it&apos;s like they can&apos;t see any nuance in the human experience. It&apos;s very frustrating.
