  remember always, new people, your heart is between your hands, electrically. if you make a circuit by putting your hands across a voltage source you are sending current to your heart's muscles. it doesn't take much to clench those muscles, milliamps are enough. use ONE hand when you are around anything over 24V or so. Study the ways electrocution happens.

  I love how the electrical concepts are translated to real life situations and problems for better understanding. This is how electrical engineering should be taught in university

  I always remember a demonstration by my physics teacher when I was in my first year of secondary school (about 11 year old). He had a load of marbles in some clear plastic pipe and he described the way electrons move in an electrical circuit by pushing a marble into one end, causing one to drop out the other end, then kept repeating the process. At the time I was amazed, I thought the electricity flowed like water through a pipe, just really fast.

  I’m here because at the age of 40 I’ve finally started learning about cars. Well, a truck that mom gave me. An old ford. I’ve already used the internet to teach myself to repair the ignition, the power windows and now I have an electrical issue. No low-beams. 😂 naturally I’m learning at a crazy pace as I absorb it all. I did actually create a lichtenburg device to burn my woodwork. I didn’t understand the way it worked I just connected the wires like the guy on YouTube showed me. Don’t worry I added a few safety measures, a deadman switch and an led light-switch. I digress though. I’m here to actually understand what I’m doing.
