  I&apos;ve literally spent my whole life trying to understand this and despite reading books and watching various videos I could never quite get the concept. &nbsp;This video explains exactly what I needed to know in order to grasp the basic concept in just a few minutes. After all these years, finally this video managed to do what all the others failed to explain in terms I can understand and relate to.

  Many years ago as an apprentice electrician one of my colleagues demonstrated the earth grounding, he was wearing rubber soled boots and, on purpose, touched a live wire, ( 240 v back then) without getting a shock, ( don’t do this at home folks) , I remember when we were rewiring some old houses in the middle of nowhere I had to hammer an earth grounding spike into the ground, I wish I’d had this chap teaching me at college all those years ago…
