  The milk bar scene is hilarious. Kenji going on about ultra pasteurized milk might as well be white noise to Akari enjoying the ice cream.

  🥲 American expat son lives in Japan. Now 24 years. Japanese wife. Two sons. My grandsons tell  me they are Japanese Black Americans. Their father, " a Japanese Black man". Been  there 5 times. They live northeast: alternating between Morioka- Hachimantai-shi and Taro aka Miyako-shi. Travelled Tokyo and districts, Kyoto, Osaka, Sendai, Aomori, Hakadote. Love the countryside and Pacific northeast seacoast best. This video brought tears of joy and longing to return before I can't travel anymore. Last there 2024+ 2025. Thank you for sharing and, your team. Memories and familiar places "light the corners of my mind"🎶

  not only was this video extremely entertaining, informative and hilarious, but it was quite insightful, introspective and so calming to watch. I spent 12 days in Japan 3 years ago and this video made me miss it so much. Thanks for a great video, can't wait for the rest of this series!

  I have followed you for years and years. This video is such a colossal step-up in production quality I had to drop a line to congratulate you. I'm not sure how I would feel about this being a 'new direction' as I get the warm and fuzzies from your channel's approachability but the occasional video of this quality would be delightful.
