Foot Forward (FF) bikes similar to this were very big in the 80's and probably before. Their advantage, low centre of mass, better aerodynamics, and increased safety is offset by reduced visibility.

I did something like this in 1969 when I was 16 using a Lambretta scooter,placing the seat on the tubular steel frame with a motorcycle fuel tank in front.

Although not so low, the Victory Vision has a very low and similar seating position. With it, I did Antwerp-Seville, 2.100 km in 18 hours straight and was fresh as a rose at the end. 😊

At 1 second- thats Dan Gurneys alligator. Ended up being too short to be safely seen.

Step through to mount was nice, but pinned on one spot, crappy handling at higher speeds due to low center of gravity, and reduced visibility were not.
