  I'm happy I got to meet him, and talk to him. He showed me around suit 66 and showed off the hockey stick he scored the 5 goals five ways with. He is a very nice, very chill guy. Kind of huge and intimidating in person tough!

  If he had the luxury of having same players him as Gretzky, he would definitely became the best hockey player ever.

  I am glad I watched him played before, hands down one of the best player if not the best out there, stick handling, calm, size, shot accuracy, hockey IQ... he's got everything. If not of the disease, he would of smashed all Gretzky's records especially that 2000 points and points per season, goals per season also.

  Mario was the greatest ever. That&apos;s not to diminish Wayne. But I grew up watching them both and Mario had it all... Except for health that is. Size, speed and best raw talent and skill in history. Hands down. Wayne is right in that clip

  It&apos;s surprising that no one brings up how bad the Pens were when Mario first joined the team, versus how much quicker the Oilers, who end up having one of the best teams in league history. &nbsp;It took the Pens 5 seasons before they even made the playoffs, while the Oilers were already multiple Cups deep in that same time frame. &nbsp;If Mario had played on a team of similar trajectory his totals would&apos;ve likely been much higher versus what he accomplished playing for a non playoff caliber team.
