  Terminal lucidity completely explains the experience I had with my mum in 2021. I was by her bedside in her last 6 days. She’d been admitted with Covid but also had dementia. I was very surprised that it seemed - as I explained to friends - as if the dementia had receded and she was herself again, coherent, ordinary conversation. It was a blessing to have her back, if only for a few short days.

  Death is not anything that I’m afraid of. I have made my mistakes in life some bad mistakes, but I’ve learned from them and I’ve tried to live a good life.

  I was with my father when he died. His last sound was like someone having a sleep apnea spell. He had been like in a deep sleep for 2 or 3 days. &nbsp;Next my mother. She was not in pain however she was having difficulty dying as in a sleep state. I laid my cheek against her cool cheek and encouraged her it was okay to go. This was 11:00 AM and went on until 6:00 PM, with much scripture reading and prayer. When she finally took her last breath she let out 3 soft wisps of air, her facial features took on a look of radiance. She was transformed into a beautiful woman. Even the girls in the Nursing facility could not stop talking about it. &nbsp;Now for my Death experience. &nbsp;I was in the CT scanner. When tech started the dye I was prepared to feel the warmth in my lower abdomen. However it was scalding red hot firey liquid. Like red hot lava. I yelled HELP!!! HELP!!!! Something bad is happening to me. Then I was gone. They said I was gone 4 mins. &nbsp;I can explain what my death felt like. &nbsp;It was the most beautiful deep peace unlike anything I ever experienced even in surgeries. I am not afraid of death. I only pray there is no suffering. I just turned 82.This happened in my 70&apos;s. &nbsp;My husband died 6 mos. before my event. He simply quit breathing.

  I spent 10 days watching my mom die. She passed aug 18 th. I can tell you with the day before was like. Her fingers and fingernails were purple although her feet and ankles were fine. She was restless all day. She couldn’t stand even a sheet on her. She wasn’t fully awake as she had been medicated since the ninth or maybe even the eighth. But the restlessness it was the restlessness and I knew. The reason I know her feet and ankles were fine is because her legs and feet were almost off the bed, and I didn’t want her to fall so I went and got help. And he got her situated back in the bed. That was in the early afternoon. The next day when I went in, she was full of junk in her chest, actually in her throat area and was trying to cough it out but she couldn’t. Again totally not aware totally not conscious. I went and got help and they said it would take a nurse specialist nurse to come in and suck it out. she settled down fairly well and then a chaplain came in and prayed with her and the hospice nurse came in flipped over the covers and said have you seen her feet today? I said no not today she said we’re hours away. She went up with her stethoscope, and was listening to mom‘s heart, and then turned around with her hands folded in front of her, and gave me that look, and I knew. She said she listened for two minutes. She had passed away. But I can tell you there are signs the day before, and you will know if you have to sit with somebody like I did you will know

  I find it extremely curious how hearing remains so prevelant since sounds have to be deciphered by the brain with great depth. Yet as the video suggests, the body can&apos;t process pain signals as it&apos;s priorities shift in these last 24 hours.

  My dad saw his dead mother and he was like a little child saying that she there my mother,that’s what he told his sister and he died right after that vision

  I like to know things step by step, even if about dying. I don&apos;t know if I will be concious enough to be like oh, ok....it&apos;s this symptom, next thing that should happen to me is this....bit still.
