Dreams feel so vivid… and then quietly slip away like they were never there. Maybe forgetting them is part of how the mind makes space for a new day. 🌙

I created the habit to write down my dreams, it makes them an actual memory and I whenever I read my notes, even from months ago, I can still visualize them in my head! Though these days, I've had a series of very nice emotional dreams, where I kind of woke up slightly and hesitated if i wanted to write them down or keep on sleeping so I dont lose the dream. I always choose to continue the dream, making me forget it when I wake up. This has become a habit and now I struggle again to remember. Ive literally setup Voice Assistant to take notes and help me as soon as I wake up a bit.

The narrator’s voice is incredibly healing. I love how I can learn deep psychological facts about dreaming while feeling my body relax with every breath. Thank you, Psychology For Sleep, for helping me understand the 'sweet amnesia' of our minds. This is exactly what I needed for a restful night.

Such a profound video! The explanation of the fragmented Default Mode Network completely changed how I view my forgotten dreams. I have to ask though—do you think people who constantly day-dream have a slightly different Default Mode Network structure during sleep compared to others? Keep up the amazing work! 👏
