  Now I&apos;m sitting before my desk in my study without moving for quite a long while and the mega Shanghai city out there has suddenly become irrelevant to me. Now it&apos;s just Bach by your unbelievable interpretation. Trained to play classical guitar for over 15 years, I can tell the &quot;engineering&quot; level of hard work and challenge climbing up to the peak of this cathedral of music. I believe both god and Bach must be smiling at you gents jointly. Best performance in the past decade.

  Having listened to this a million times on piano, this performance on guitar brings a whole new dimension with both parts so clear and distinct. &nbsp;(And I love all the great comments. &nbsp;Finally, everyone agrees on something!)

  This was the first time I heard the Goldberg Variations duet played on guitar. <br><br>It&apos;s the best classical guitar piece I&apos;ve ever heard. <br><br>Listening to it brings me to tears. I listen to it every night before bed. It&apos;s soothing to the soul.

  Absolutely out of this world. &nbsp;Been listening to these variations for decades and with all kinds of instrumentation, but boy did this one ever draw me in. &nbsp;Sublime end-to-end.

  This is incredible. &nbsp;I’ve carefully listened to the ‘55 Gould, the ‘81 Gould, Andras Schiff, and other fine pianist’s and harpsichordist’s Goldberg recordings countless times for 25 years. &nbsp;I repeat: this is incredible. &nbsp;What an achievement!

  Classical guitar performance of the year. I’m completely amazed by how musically the Goldberg Variations can be expressed through the guitar. In so many other renditions, I’ve heard moments of struggle. But here, the music simply sings with effortless beauty and elegance. The tempo feels absolutely perfect. One of my favorite performances of the Goldberg Variations. Congratulations and thank you for sharing this masterpiece!

  It&apos;s only a slight exaggeration, IMHO, to say that if this were the only thing to watch over the internet, all the trillions of dollars spent on its development would be worth it. &nbsp;I recently watched Angela Hewitt&apos;s masterful piano concert in celebration of 50 years of performing this work. &nbsp;I did not think there could be one to equal it. &nbsp;Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
