  As someone who is addicted to Bach for almost 40 years now, it&apos;s beautiful to watch and listen to a whole new generation<br>of incredible Bach performers. It feels as if the Bach revival has only just begun. Never before have there been so<br>many great young talents all over the world and Jean Rondeau is a shining example!

  This is playing of a very high order. Comments about the performer’s hair or any other aspect of his appearance seem a bit out of place and rude. But perhaps that’s just me. We are so lucky to be able to hear performances like this at the click of a mouse.

  I know I’ve commented before but just in case I haven’t, I want to say this performance always makes me so happy to listen to. I love this man for keeping Bach alive so beautifully. Even the way he turns the pages makes me swoon. <br>I love you, my beautiful, mysterious werewolf harpsichordist.

  Today it&apos;s been 13 years since my Father was taken from me by cancer. I always remeber him when I listen to the Goldberg variations. It&apos;s a piece about life itself, a full circle which starts with an Aria, and ends with the same Aria, albeit a more pensive one. This young man gets it..the first half is more full of life..the latter after variation 15 are more pensive and Variation 25 is when you know you&apos;re going to die and put a bravado before realizing that with all that Life gives you, the tribulations, sadness, regrets, and disappointments..Life is still Beautiful..Bach understood this better than anyone..having lot his parents by the time he was 9, living hardships with a jerk of an older brother, marrying his cousin and losing her by the time he was 35, then marrying his second wife,the second love of his life..losing 1/2 of his 20 children, and working for unappreciative jerks most of his life..Bach understood suffering,but that did not dissuade him for Living and Loving Life. The 30th variation is the best example: a silly song, mixed with a Love song + with different parts of religious songs..that&apos;s what Life is: the silly thrown in with the serious, the tragedy along with the triumph, the Love and the Loss..This brings all of that together. That is why Bach was one of the Greatest Genuises Mankind will ever know. I miss you Dad, but as long as I hear the Goldberg&apos;s I know you&apos;ll be waiting for me.

  He suffered 40 days and 40 nights being tempted by satan in the woods and then came back to play Bach… what a legend

  Netherlands Bach Society is a beacon of light on a stormy sea. Excellent artists. Excellent performances. Excellent productions. And. . . it&apos;s all FREE to everyone with the technology. &nbsp;This, to me, is proof that the heart hasn&apos;t gone out of this old world.

  This was a truly magnificent performance! I have never heard the harpsichord sound so beautiful! Rondeau got into the soul of this piece. Thank you @Netherlands Bach Society for you great gift to the world! ❤

  I hate when I come across a video of a talented musican and all I see in the comments are hurtful remarks. Thoes who hate, cannot play so childish bulling of a artiest who has spent years and years mastering their craft is ridiculed not for his ability but his looks. Shame on all you cowards. I respectfully enjoyed this performance. Bravo my good man! &nbsp;Bravo! 👏
