  Oh interesting,  the little placards for each item appear to have the cooking times for that item on it. That's very helpful for people who've not had that ingredient before.

  For a poached egg you swirl the boiling liquid and drop the egg in the middle of the swirl. The swirling liquid keeps the egg together so you do have to keep the swirl going until the egg cooks.

  I love the heart shaped bowls (and heart shaped foods served in them by extension) it adds a touch of lovey-dovey whimsy that I find very cute ^u^

  At home, sometimes while I'm eating an instant ramen, I'll add leftover rice from the night before to it to make a porridge like dish

  I suppose anything can become a delicacy if people put their minds to it.  Luncheon meat was a thing here in the UK when I was a kid, and still is, to judge from the cans of the stuff on the supermarket shelves. Our family wasn't well off when I was young: Dad had to do two jobs to make ends meet. There was always food on the table, we never went hungry, but Spam and other varieties of luncheon meat were common fare and I developed a deep dislike for it. That dislike is still with me, and I won't touch the stuff. I'd rather go hungry. And I freely admit that I am baffled by people who appear to love the stuff.

  I wish there was a restaurant like this where I live, it looks like fun! I would go so often the staff would greet me like an old friend😂 Thank you for bringing us along, at least I get to experience it through videos!<br>P.S. I think you would like gumbo, a famous dish from where I&apos;m from. It&apos;s a very flavorful, spicy stew with seafood and veggies that&apos;s served poured over steamed white rice. It&apos;s one of those dishes where everyone has a slightly different recipe, but it&apos;s always tasty!
