  I would have put the rocks that you brought into camp, and stacked them on the big rocks already there, and build a fire wall. that way you reflect the heat from your fire towards your shelter.

  I love a bushcraft channel where the person owns and uses their firearm. To me, it’s an obvious combo for protection and hunting out in the wild

  You should use the broad spine on the back of the blade of your knife when you start a fire. I see you use the round cutting edge. You don&apos;t want to damage the cutting edge.

  I learned like 3 new micro-skills watching this: 1. using a second piece of wood as a backstop sort of thing when splitting a small log with an axe, 2. making a dry platform out of wood in order to avoid putting the shaved tinder on the wet ground, and 3. using the moss/lichen as a sponge for scrubbing dishes. Simple stuff, but I&apos;m really grateful for the chance to learn from an expert. Keep up the great work!

  The way you set up your tent is quite similar to the way our Vietnamese army does it. We often pick tea leaves nearby, in the forest, a lot, it&apos;s great.
