  I interpreted David killing his coworkers as him killing their humanity, creative drive and passion in pursuit of the creation of the Basilisk. The way he chides his coworkers for the slightest bit of fun (like the hall of skeletons, or the boss music) is indicative of that.

  Greg&apos;s health being at 0 and his Darkness being at 100% is really curious. His flavor text doesn&apos;t mention anything about Basilisk 2000, only that he&apos;s &apos;The programmer in charge here&apos;. Maybe he was the skinned man David.B found in the office that started it all

  That &quot;friggin sweet&quot; reference to morrowind actually occurs three separate times in the game. The DLC Tribunal pokes fun at this with a naked barbarian who is indignant at you for assuming a witch had something to do with him being naked(He&apos;s actually just &quot;cooling off&quot;)

  as an artist who is literally crippled by perfectionism ... just hearing sentences like &quot;Perfect is the enemy of Good&quot;, and &quot;Perfect is the enemy of Finished&quot; is good to hear and try to internalize. getting something done will be more rewarding and teach you more than not making anything at all just because you already feel the sting of it not being perfect before even starting.

  I think the detail of the player being able to clip underneath gravestones and see bloodied corpses is a parallel to David B finding the body in the basement. You were never suppose to see it, but you were given access and you were curious.

  What I love about the horror in this game is the fact that 95% of everything in this game is basically completely static, so you&apos;re even more scared out of your mind when you find something moving... Especially if it&apos;s moving towards you...

  In Kira’s later game Lunacid the basilisk returns to give you a magic spell that kiIIs yourself after you stare at a corpse in a hidden room of one of the levels
