Was blessed to be a Union Soldier extra on set for the last three days of filming. It was like hopping in a time machine and going back in time.

I gotta say that, whilst I wasn’t alive in the 19th century, Abraham Lincoln’s impression of Daniel Day-Lewis is remarkable.

This is one of the most brilliant movies I've ever seen. Daniel Day-Lewis is a miracle - and so is Steven Spielberg.

Daniel Day-Lewis's portrayal of Abraham Lincoln has to be arguably the greatest individual performance in the history of American cinema. While we can never really know exactly how President Lincoln sounded or what his mannerisms were to any real degree of accuracy, Lewis absolutely makes the audience believe 100% they are truly watching Abraham Lincoln. At least that's how it felt for me. A truly remarkable performance of the most iconic figure in American history.

Lincoln the movie is an absolute masterpiece. I always wondered what Lincoln's voice sounded like and Daniel Day Lewis's version seems spot on. There are times when Lincoln yells, talks softly, and talks softly yet sternly and Daniel nails it.

We are fortunate to be around the same time as Daniel Day Lewis.

Lighting was phenomenal in this film. The cinematography was very carefully executed to recreate the feel of what might have been 19th century interior light levels.<br>Beautifully done.
