I've been a millionaire for a few years now. The sad truth for anyone looking forward to it is that it doesn't make you "rich." I feel absolutely no different and live absolutely no differently.

Turning 45 years old this year. Net worth is 2.5 million. Came here as a refugee from Vietnam at 6. Single mother, food stamps growing up. We use to collect cans and recycled them (I was very embarrassed at the time) the best advice I could give anyone is to delay gratification. Cars, clothes, jewelry are the biggest culprits. Use that money to invest in real estate or the stock market as soon as you can. Even $100 is nothing to sneeze at. I started investing at 25 and didn’t buy a new car until last year!

One million dollars is still a lot of money especially if invested properly.

I'm about to cross the million dollar threshold! I buy my clothing from Costco or Sam's Club when it's on sale! I drive a 2006 Camry LX. Everything I have is paid off! Zero mortgage payments!

I'm a net worth millionaire at 57, but never made more than $87k in a year working.
I drive an 8 year old car I bought used, and most of my cloths are 5-10+ years old, don't even own a watch or other jewelry, and use a 7 year old phone.
I do play Warhammer 40k, and drink nice whisky, so I'm not entirely thrifty!🤣

I’m retired with 650,000 in an IRA. None of my friends are doing that well. Most seniors I know are not sure how they will retire

I grew up poor, family no money, and no connections. Food stamps, Rent control/public housing, ect. I started personal finance early, age 17. I always made sure to save money whenever I did stuff other people do, when everyone bought video games, I bought video games I really wanted to play instead of every game that was hyped. I learned to cook and fast. I learned about clothing materials so I can shop clothes better and avoid buying clothes with logos. Whenever financial education was offered I took it. I invest in the stock market and flip items whenever I have the time. I am in my 30s now. I have no student loans, no credit card debt, 800+ credit score, and 6 figures to my name. My advice is, even if you can't beat jeff bezos' networth, anyone can build wealth if they put some effort and planning!
