As an Iranian from Zagros mountains I always knew we are different from our neighbouring nations like people of the Indian sub-continent and people of the Arabian peninsula but I never guessed our ancestors might be from Iranian plateau as well. Based on appearance I would think our ancestors probably came from Caucuses ( Georgia, Armenia, Daghestan) but now I feel even more proud to know all my fathers were just Iranians and nothing else.💚🤍❤️
