"Life isn't just about passing on your genes. We can leave behind much more than just DNA. Through bronze, silver, gold and platinum trophies what we've seen, heard, felt, anger, joy and sorrow... these are the things I will pass on. That's what I live for." - Solid Snake

Snake's monologue at the end is one of the most profound moments in gaming for me personally.

Imagine being the developers and artists who programmed the last battle with the large snow soldiers! Imagine how many gamers actually got to play that!

As someone who has gotten this platinum, i want to say that the VR missions are my least favourite part of the game, they feel over bloated with how many there are, the variety missions with mgs1 sniper took me 2 days to complete, and i dont think i have ever been so angry with a game before.
As well as that, i was also stupid enough to forget to pick up the body armour in the extreme run of the story, so i was doing the ray and solidus boss fights without any rations, and only able to take 1 hit before dying.... this platinum is frustrating beyond belief at times, but my god it feels amazing to finally pop that sweet sweet hard earned platinum trophy.
The Journey took me almost an entire year, and i salute you for taking this game on and platting it, you absolute trooper!
