  Can we just take a minute to acknowledge how damn good Alan Tudyk voices Sonny? Giving him the feeling of a humanized robot, without loosing the robotlike voice.

  Roflmao Oak predicting everything in the first 5 mins but not getting the Sonny wink scene is fucking hilarious and took me completely off guard. Quinn’s reaction to that was hilarious too😂

  I am a software engineer, and Oak&apos;s point that the programming leading to unexpected conclusions is so true. I often look into a &quot;bug&quot; in our code, and at first I don&apos;t understand why it&apos;s doing what it&apos;s doing. Turns out that is doing exactly what it&apos;s told to, only we (the human authors of said code) didn&apos;t take into account certain edge cases. That&apos;s what makes this movie great. It is entirely possible that an AI (very advanced AI, albeit) could make it&apos;s own interpretation of the instructions given to it. This movie is probably a prophetic documentary, to be honest...

  Lanning was not the bad guy, his work was misued. Bruce&apos;s character was not the bad guy. VIKI sent the NS-5s after Spooner, not Bruce. The uplink (red light on robots) was all VIKI, she was not controlled by anyone. There was no &quot;bad guy&quot;, it was an example of humans being self-destructive by creating laws which could be distorted by the robots that were governed by them. There was no character in this movie with malicious intent, so no traditional bad guy.

  You are not an idiot Diamond Dave, this movie does one of the best bait-and-switches in my opinion in terms of who is the real villain. Not being able to figure out the secrets of a show or movie can honestly make something so much more entertaining or memorable sometimes! When a movie can pull off a proper misdirect it&apos;s something special and this one manages two of them with Will Smith&apos;s arm as well as the real villain! (:

  It kinda scared me with how quickly AI is being used now. It reminds me of what Jeff Goldblum said in Jurassic Park about creating the dinosaurs. &quot;You were so busy thinking you could, you didn&apos;t stop to think if you should.&quot; Or something like that
