From UK, my first visit to China was in 2011. I returned home after 3 weeks and immediately got serious about developing a plan to move there permanently. By 2013, I had taken retirement 10 years early, sold up, packed our bags and moved to Sichuan Province. It is literally the best thing we ever did and our lives are better in pretty much every way as a result.

I like your openness and kindness. When I lived for 3 years in China, that was also exactly my way of enjoying the Chinese environment: meeting people, talking to them, improving the language skills... Enjoy!

在大中城市里出行距离1个小时以内，我也更喜欢骑自行车或电动自行车，而不是开汽车，因为在城里交通路况太复杂，容易堵车，而且很难找停车位😂

I think it is not only the convenience.<br>It's also the cleanness, safety for women, decency and most importantly it's people's civic sense. <br>China wasn't the way it is today, however they've work hard to make it the way it is today.<br>It is a high trust society.

Unlike in many American cities, Chinese parks do not shut down at night. No drug dealing, and no homeless!
