  The Chinese didn't copy the launch system from the US. It is a completely different design. The American uses flywheel in vacuum to store up the energy and release the energy in the form of a very strong AC current. On the other hand, the Chinese design uses super-capacitors to store up energy and release the energy in the form of a very strong DC current.

  the J15T is a completely different aircraft than the J15. As different if not more than J15 was to SU33. Just the basic shape and layout is same.

  If I were in charge. U would see advanced 15exs called Sea Eagles u would see the Apaches. America is so slow. Thanks to its politicians thx. China has surpassed The American Navy. Sure they haven’t tested such surpluses operation wise but they will. It’s Americas political fault. Now I’m not dawging my Countrymen. But we do nothing when things are stolen. The U.S. is all  politics now. We are slaves to there system. We have allowed yet another country to rise up surpassing Nazi Germany and have done absolutely nothing. Yet one day we will have to fight through the slaughter thx to The American government and its politicians. Just to reelect the same trash to govern us back into bondage. Because we can trust our government we sure can. Just like the thugs of the blue line.

  thats a very good copy of the russian naval version of this plane<br>the canards were added for stability reasons due to extra weight of the strengthened plane for carrier work<br>and also because of the extra weight of the big radar in the nose., <br>some thing the earlier versions did not have so no canards needed

  Are you saying China copied the EMAL system from the US? I thought they started the development before the US. Is it a perverse arrogance to claim all new technologies China developed are copied from the US even when non-existent in the US.

  I don’t see how Boeing and Shenyang are in a carrier-fighter “race.” The US Navy is never going to buy Chinese fighters, and China is never going to buy Super Hornets. There are also very few countries operating CATOBAR carriers, and almost all either already have their own aircraft ecosystem or rely on US/French aircraft. J-15T and F/A-18E/F can be compared operationally, but Boeing vs Shenyang is not really a commercial competition
