  I have an even older Lexus -- a 2005 LS 430 -- which I bought with the usual caveats (good condition, no rust, good service history, etc). It's not cheap; I pay to maintain it; it uses premium gasoline and doesn't get great mileage. But not to be macabre, at age 71, it could well be my last car, and I have no regrets about that.

  Love my GSF.  Great sound with exhaust.  Still a head turner and lots of thumbs up to those that know what it is.

  It can easily be the only car you need. <br>But for 20K, you should be able to get one with a lot fewer miles and in much better shape.

  14 GS, 200k miles, still drives like new! Smooth handling, insulated, and fast enough, every single day!

The car is absolutely worth maintaining it to keep it running for life, but expect that the suspension will need new bushings over time, the emission system will need work over time, it will start to consume oil like many Toyota products although it doesn&apos;t leak. The one big issue is that the Toyota blocks are not modular, from what I understand they cannot be relieved. You&apos;ll also inevitably have to upgrade the infotainment system. Other than that it maintains that same smooth quiet operation just like new. Mechanics will charge more for repairs on these vehicles also

  I&apos;ve got a 14 GS350 &nbsp;with almost 150k miles. I don&apos;t want to replace this thing for a very long time

  I&apos;ve got a 2013 GS 350 AWD, every time I get in it I smile. Low maintenance costs, a fun drive, and has all the options I want in a daily driver.
