  On my trip to Moorhead MN last weekend I pass two large JD dealerships owned by RDO.  The stock of new JD farm equipment on display is way down from previous years.  Construction equipment in Moorhead is still strong.

  Claas Combines work very well in Iowa Corn & Soybean fields from what I have seen the last few years.

  The problem with the European equipment is dealer network is smaller and while this says American combines parts takes longer , I would guess most people would say the opposite. A part from Deere or case are made in the US. If it’s out of stock at the dealer it doesn’t have to come from europe

  Claas builds excellent combine harvesters. The tractors from Claas are average to good. In contrast, Fendt is the Mercedes of tractors.:hand-pink-waving:

  Maybe is Deere sees the other green machines in the field they figure out what they doing wrong<br> It doesn&apos;t help American government putting restrictions on emissions on agricultural equipment. Those restrictions are causing road trucks to be down for days or weeks because of a simple. failure

  Now that JD is moving to MeXI o, well they made a bad move. &nbsp;Farmers, especially in the harvest build are very dedicated people and pro American. &nbsp;JD determining they are demand they do repairs sealed their own fate. &nbsp;JD is learning one thing, screw your customer, you lose. &nbsp;Now they are buying other equipment, sometimes foreign. I do not fault them in the least. &nbsp;Farmers want to be able to fix their own equipment. &nbsp;JD tried to limit their customers ability to repair their equipment and take control. &nbsp;They gambled customer loyalty over profits. &nbsp;THEY LOST.
