You can get scissors sharpened, I know Joann's had a flyer about it. Google is you have a locale knife sharper, they would be able to sharpen your scissors 😊

Isopropyl alcohol. Or goo gone, or hot soapy water and scrubbing, for your scissors. Also you can sharpen knives, it must be possible to sharpen scissor blades (thinking about my own fabric scissors that were borrowed by siblings for paper) 🤔
