Sorry for not calling it "When Lego Broke Bionicle and about 25% of Hero Factory" it didn't hit the same

Brittle Lime might be a pretty good Shadow Reviewersona name for when you need to start your space opera reviewer storyline

Clearly Makuta could've defeated those pesky Bionicle interlopers if he'd just enacted a plan to turn all of their limb joints lime green and watch them fall apart at the seams

my Gresh bionicle cracking probably was the start to me being a feverish antiquarian for my toys going forward as a kid

the other thing about the piston pieces, besides providing additional friction, is that they looked fucking awesome

I really liked the glatorian plant guy with the big shield and when his joints snapped I cried harder than when my first hamster died. Glad to know that was a design flaw and not a sorcerer’s curse

I love how Big Yellow has seemingly picked up the habit of hard pronouncing the "g" in "nothing" like Charlie from Smiling Friends

The Matoran language in the thumbnail was a nice touch.

"and 2008 and 2009 and 2010 and more"

Ehlek was the first 2007 set I got. Within about a year literally every lime piece on him was broken. I even somehow managed to snap the bar piece used for his body. I didn't even take him apart! I've never had a Lego set disintegrate on me like that. Even 2008 and 2009 sets weren't THAT bad.
