I think I finally get why Muzak is so prevalent, even though people say they hate it at some point you learn to appreciate it and enjoy it. It taps into a spot in your mind where everything is comforting and ok

Someday one of these super rich dudes is going to open a super market and/or mall and have it totally set up retro 1975.

Of course this music would play all day.

I'd shop there all the time. Don't think I'd be the only one.

I love how the sound is being swallowed by the reverberation of the large space and hard surfaces.

"Welcime back, welcome back to the place where you started from.....welcome back...." sigh the 70s & 80s were such a great time to be alive

Sadly most of these mall are either abandoned or knocked down I've seen where people video themselves walking through these vacant places. I really miss these days growing up I truly believe that we were blessed to have experienced those times 🤔

Thank heavens for the internet. Otherwise, we'd never hear this music again!

It took me a bit to get through the organ music, but the first song was, "Welcome Back, Kotter"

Someone PLEASE guide me to a YouTube channel that plays mall music muzak for at least 5 hours or longer! I miss the wonderful old days of going to malls and department stores and wishing I could hide somewhere in a store and listen to muzak all day long!

So sad. Muzak is the funeral dirge of the last remnant of social cohesion in our country. I'm an old man and I still miss the mall rats.
