  I’m a car guy but these people are the scum of car culture. I was there over the weekend for the first time and downtown Gatlinburg was a shit show. Everyone driving around revving cars on the main street was unacceptable. It should’ve been stopped immediately. Any good car event doesn’t allow that kind of behavior. I wouldn’t come back if those are the kind of events the town attracts. My kids had a shit time and so did I. Thanks for sharing a local take though. Your videos provided helpful insight prior to visiting.

  We were witnesses to all this crap !!! Absolutely ruined our vacation due to rude and disrespectful people who apparently thought they were owed the whole city of Pigeon Forge! They blocked us in while we were on a “overlook” on the Gatlinburg pass. I may be a 65 year old woman ,but not a timid old lady ,so I laid on the gas pedal and went straight through their little boy barricades 😅. Yep the one had to tuck in his hind end after realizing I wasn’t going to stop . So sad that the real tourists and locals had to put up with this. I hear people say “well it was a few that made it bad for the others” , sorry but a crowd of thousands in a gas station area daring the police to come at them isn’t a few. Unfortunately you can bet the they will be back next year even though right now people are being told it’s a no go , because this is the generation that gets their “patties slapped” then allowed to do the exact same thing over and over. <br>Sorry for the rant ,but this was my only vacation I get for the whole year and yes I do expect be able to enjoy it without the chaos that happened last week .

  We are local, and work all up in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville area. In 12 years, I&apos;VE NEVER seen a more disrespectful bunch. Driving to our cabins was a nightmare and I&apos;m stoked we as a community, don&apos;t have to put up with this again! Hate it for the peeps that wasn&apos;t causing trouble, but it is what it is.

  I don&apos;t live anywhere near Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and I totally agree. If people can&apos;t come into the area and act like civil, grown adults, they have no right to be there. Especially if they&apos;re causing a nuisance and destroying property. The state should make it to where they can&apos;t come back as well. People today, have no respect for other people and their property.

  This is the straw that broke the camel&apos;s back. The locals have been wanting this particular car show shut down for years, that&apos;s why it went from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge to Sevierville. The people who brought cars this weekend are trying to pass blame unto this group as to why the event shut down but it&apos;s not entirely true. They have been causing havoc in this area for years. Racing down the parkway, passing on double yellow lines, passing on blind curves, driving 60+ 80+ 100+ mph in 35mph zones in the national park. Doing time trials to see who can make it fastest from Gatlinburg to Cherokee. Stopping in the middle of the road in the tunnel to take pictures, videos, and tik tok dances. Stopping on the foothills parkway and blocking traffic for miles so they can take pictures, videos and drone shots. Blocking people&apos;s driveways so they can&apos;t get out to go to work in the morning. Revving their engines and making them backfire next to pedestrians on the sidewalk to try and jump scare them. Revving their engines next to bear, elk, deer, and turkey to scare them off so people can&apos;t take pictures. Reserving a double bed room that sleeps 4 at a hotel and then having a dozen people stay there. They honestly have no one to blame but themselves.

  50 year old Tennesse native here. Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg are not the same family destinations my parents took me and I took my kids. Sad
